What Is Staging?

Staging is the process for cleaning, organizing, removing clutter, rearranging, updating and preparing a home for a sale. Staging may be as simple as thoroughly cleaning a home and rearranging furniture, or as complex as re-painting, re-carpeting and renting furniture to increase the home's marketability. What can staging do to make the sale of your home more efficient and profitable?

Stage 1 - Consultation and Recommendation
  • A thorough investigation of your home will be done.
  • An expectation analysis will be done (what are you looking to accomplish?)
  • A full recommendation of what needs to be done, including pricing.
  • A list of staging services specific to your home will be outlined.

Stage 2 - Action Plan Developed
  • We will implement a vendor selection process that is based on scheduling, price and availability.
  • We will set up a meeting with you to select vendors for specific tasks, with a chance to meet the vendors before work begins.
  • We will provide an organized schedule for services to be completed in conjunction with market date.
  • Once vendor selection is agreed upon we will provide a detailed schedule of when the work will start and be completed.
Stage 3 - Ongoing Support of Needed Services
    (Depending on how long it takes to sell the home, your time frame for the contract may vary.)
  • Staging Home Sales Inc. will be available for ongoing support throughout the duration of contract.
  • We will provide the client with ongoing contractor coordination and other property management support as your home remains on scheduled open houses.
  • Staging Home Sales Inc. will provide a walk-through as a follow-up for two days to ensure that the home continues to show as a model home.
